Went for dinner Friday 11/26/21. I've had experience with different restaurants in town and have eaten at the Mexican restaurants in the area. I found Sabor Azteca an establishment to be expensive, almost $100 for 3 people. Food was good but the value just isn't there. The fajita meals were okay. My enchilada combo meal was not hot. I'm being kind. The kicker was that with the Fajita dinner provided the fixin's with a teaspoon of sour cream. We asked for extra sour cream which we received. When we got the bill, we were charged 1.90 per extra dollop. I'm sorry to have to write this review but it has been bothering me all weekend. I can honestly say that with all the choices in this area, including Mexican, we will pass on this restaurant totally. Panchos and La Fiesta are better alternatives.

Went here on 3/14/21 after a rave recommendation from my daughter’s physical therapist. We have gone to just about every Mexican restaurant in the Capital Region area, but never experienced the quality of food, drink, ambience and service as we did here. The food is authentic, original in both taste and presentation and definitely in no way run-of-the-mill. The staff is so attentive and welcoming throughout the entire meal and the table side fresh-made guacamole is something that was never offered at any other Mexican restaurant we’ve ever been too. We had an absolutely five-star experience and this restaurant exceeded all our expectations. We may be having our next birthday get-together for our daughter at Sabor Azteca!
