They apparently closed down as of around early July, 2021. Their phone message thereafter was that they were closing for August but would re-open September 1st. I stopped by there on September 3rd and they are definitely not open. Also, their phone is apparently disconnected. This is a shame. At their best, the food was very good. They made a mistake allowing customers to "BYOB." It doesn't help that there are many cheapskates in Monroe who don't patronize local businesses and then wonder why they go out of business. I am not sure if their Nanuet take-out place is still open. I will miss them, but I do agree that there was a gradual subtle drop-off in the food quality over the last 1-2 years. I'm sure covid didn't help.

Have been going to this place for years. The last couple of times the service has gone down. Food is not what it use to be. Not sure if We would go back.

Went to eat out here with my wife on her recommendation. She said it was reasonably priced, and raved over the food, and said it was a bonus that you can bring your own wine. Be advised that they do not accept credit cards. The portions are on the larger side, but we both thought the food this time was only just ok. I would say that the prices for entrees would be around $21 each. There was a charge on our bill that said : wine $2. Maybe that was their fee for the work required to turn a corkscrew??? They charged us more ( by a little ) than it should have been. No cash register receipt, so that begs the question if all their revenue is being reported. I will not be eating there again.

Sat down at 6 didn't get entries until 7:40. Served oil and wad of sun dried tomato as soon as we sat down. 20 minutes later salads arrived still no bread. Asked for bread which arrived 45 minutes later. was hot, hard as a rock was like they flash cooked it. Knew this was going to be bad. Food was OK but not as good as we previously enjoyed at this restaurant. What was deplorable is we never got an apology or update with remorse. Asked for Dominick who I usually share pleasantries with never saw him this visit. Was so disappointed. just asked for check to get out of there. Never was offered anything complimentary for the inconvenience.

Ordered mussels to go this evening and what a disappointment
4 mussels were not opened , sauce was tasteless. I tried the pulled bread and just a few pieces of bread in the order. Won't even bother to go back.....
