We had one our best restaurant meals in our nearly 34 years together last evening.

We've been hearing repeated good referrals from people in our Glens Falls region about DeNatales Restaurant in Hudson Falls. Fortunately for us, it's just a shade over 7 miles from our house because it is "Out of this world, absolutely awesome!"

We met and got to spend some very valuable time with owners Theresa Harwood-DeNatale and Kevin Golonka, despite the fact that it was Saturday night busy. Turns out that Kevin is a former neighbor who grew up on the same street as I, although he was more than a few years younger! And Theresa has several acquaintances that we know as well from the Capital District.

The restaurant is in a refurbished former brick and mortar mill in central Hudson Falls. This place has this chic, but non-pretentious vibe. It's rustic, but cool and extremely clean. Our view from table 9, (now officially the "Swatling Road Bryan" table), afforded us a sentinels view of the entire bar and dining area, and also frequent views into the spotless kitchen, as attendant servers hustled steaming hot servings of some of the best Italian food we have ever eaten in our lives!

I am telling everyone who will listen and who is within driving distance (even if it's a few hours) to RUN, NOT WALK, to this place for a culinary experience that will stimulate all your senses!

Reservations are requested unless you want to belly up to the richly, fully appointed and stocked beautiful bar!

When you make your reservation, you will most likely be speaking with Theresa. Tell her Swatling Road Bryan referred you! She will give you a light-hearted laugh and schedule you for, perhaps, one of the best dining experiences of your life!

Here are some photos we took last evening. We ate our fill and more last night and easily have enough left overs for two more meals in our fridge this morning. Bon appetit!

I was remiss in not giving a shout out for our server Stacey! She was fantastic; Polite, fast, efficient and attentive. Need extra sauce, boom you got it! Wine refill, pow here you go! Finished dinnerware, poof dissappeared! Busy as all get out and still always a pleasant smile and time for us as if we were her only customers. Great job Stacey!
