Great food, homemade pies, great service. I have eaten at the Luck E Star Cafe a few times and it has always been a joy. I highly recommend it.

We have given this place 3 tries. We can't review the food because we only have gone for ice cream. They are very stingy. When you ask for 2 scoops, they count the ice cream in the cone as one scoop?! When you get a dish, the scoops look as though they were done by a melon baller!? Even after placing a large order, we asked for a cup of tap water and were charged $1 for it?! It wasn't just us. We sat there and watched as they shortchanged everyone. There was an older man who was a veteran that ordered 2 scoops...when the girl gave him his cone, he said "are you kidding me?!". He looked at us and asked if they had done that since him and his wife were tourists. We showed him ours and told him that we were locals and they do it to everyone. We advised him to go to Martha's just up the road. Shame on this business for charging high prices but not delivering on the goods.
