We absolutely love this restaurant for many reasons. The food is amazing and enjoy trying the nightly specials as well. The staff is knowledgeable and very courteous. The Bar has a great lively atmosphere too. It’s all around a hit.

Pier House's New Year's Eve Menu was a tremendous smash!
Upscale menu featuring unique & wild items like jalopeno & honey Brie wedges, Chicken Airline with Parmesan Tuile, & in house smoked Prime Rib. Gorgeous. Superbly created by experienced Chefs it's food like you've never tasted, attention to detail is noteable on every plate. Try or ask for the Celeriac soup. This is Flavorful food with lots of fresh herbs. Easily one of THE best Restaurants in the North Country. Their bartender has that infectious humor & energy to make this place a gem in the community. Like sports? This is the place to come with friends to enjoy the game but it's still all about the FOOD! Thanks for returning to the culinary scene Pier House.... North Country appreciates fresh cooking & local ingredients. And this Chef can do down-home! A Fish Fry like Gramma used to make after a day on the ice! Sooo good! Ask about their Specials.

Been there twice since reopening. Newly remodeled. Décor is amazing. Food is very good. I think they have the best wings in Clayton! Fish and Chips were delicious, extremely large portions for the price. Highly recommended. Warning though, if you are a party of 6 or more, better call ahead or you'll get the lecture.

This is a new place with outstanding service.
Their food is all fresh & delicious with unexpected twists like tomato chutney with calamari & light fluffy biscuits & local honey to start your meal. Definitely the MOST outstanding haddock fish fry in the region! Knocked it out of the ballpark!
Gotta admit the not so crabby crab cakes are so tasty I wanted to order more TO GO ! Inventive and creative chefs behind the stove..... finally a place to get home cooking this winter right in Clayton & frankly way better than dining @ Kitty Hoynes or any Syracuse armory square restaurants....this will be a great place to watch 'Cuse basketball without driving thru the wretched Tug. Friendly service & the Bar is always Open!

I have eaten here a few times and its a hit or miss. Last time I had the pier house chicken and it was great. However my husbands soda was flat and the croutons on all our salads were stale.
