The brunch at Thayer, located in the historic hotel at West Point, offered a variety of flavorful dishes including a delicious beet carpaccio, a large Caesar salad, and entrees like roast chicken that impressed with its tenderness and flavor, though the duck was slightly overcooked and tough. The dessert options were plentiful, featuring a waffle station with bananas foster and vanilla ice cream, as well as pies and cakes, while the service was warm but somewhat slow and the beverage selection limited, especially in spirits.

The Thayer brunch at the historic Thayer hotel in West Point offered a lovely dining experience with high-quality food and a kid-friendly perk of complimentary meals. Despite some slow service, the ambiance with a steakhouse feel and river view made for a pleasant outing.
