I love grabbing espresso and sandwiches at Ottos, with fresh local groceries and friendly staff.

I really like Ottos for grabbing some last-minute groceries or sandwiches, even though it can be a bit pricey. The vibe at the cute spot in Germantown NY is very NYC-like, and they have a good variety of unique groceries that I enjoy browsing through.

What happened to this place??? A group of wealthy investors from Brooklyn, NY descended with illusions of grandeur...the prices used to be a tad higher than most places-but didn't mind paying because the NICEST hard working locals of all ages were employed, and given health insurance. Now, only the young and beautiful need apply.
Used to be able to get a simple breakfast, or gourmet deli food that was SOOO delicious. Now: prices through the roof, old food favorites gone, food now fancy but not yummy, old farm charm of original building gone, staff virtually replaced ??? Ridiculous snooty environment. Used to be SUCH a great place.
