Food and service were decent BUT:
A service charge was once again added to our bill without prior notice or consent prior to us selecting a payment method. This fee, supposedly for paying with a credit card although we had not specified a payment method, was not disclosed 1) by the wait staff, 2) on the door, 3) in the menu, or 4) on any visible signage. When ask to remove the charge the manager begrudgingly did so. The manager, however, argued that this was typical practice for restaurants and did not seem interested in addressing the notification issue, To be clear, I do not consider the application of undisclosed service charges to be normal or ethical business practice for any business, Further, I have not seen a trend for restaurants to charge fees for paying with credit cards. In fact, credit cards and delivery services seem to be a new norm. Perhaps a discount for paying in cash coupled with an increase in menu prices might be a more ethical and palatable way of accomplishing cost containment
