After reading Brendan's comments I felt that I should comment. We own a home in Beaufort, and spend a great amount of time in the restaurants in town. Finz is a favorite, especially for lunch. Food quality is great, and I have never had bad service. When we have guest, they love that we can drive the boat and dock at Finz. On the weekends, during the summer all the restaurants are packed! I understand why they may feel that they may not be able to accomadate both diners, and call in orders. While the hostess was rude, and it should be handled by management. The rule was made by management, she was following instructions, so do not kill the messenger.

PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU WASTE MONEY AT THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I first want to say that I live in Morehead City year around and I'm NOT a tourists. I walked in from my boat on a Saturday afternoon at 2pm. The Bartender immediately told me, "If I was her for a to-go order it "ain't" going to happen. They weren't allowed to take to-go orders on busy days." (2pm on a Sat afternoon and there were tables open everywhere) I walked to to hostess and ask, "You guys don't take to-go orders on Saturdays?" One girl who was very nice told me not on busy days due to the crowd and the many orders. I then told the girls that I was sorry to hear that and hate to think that I had to eat somewhere else.
WHAT I WAS TOLD NEXT BLEW MY MIND........
The other Hostess told me, "We are so busy that we DON'T need your business and didn't care if I ate somewhere else." She told me my money wasn't need there and that I should go somewhere else if I didn't like it.
I immediately ask to speak to the owner/manager and she point him out. I spoke to STEVE, and he told me that he didn't hear her say that and ask what did I want him to do about it.
Just another example of a business that does well buy accident. You rely on tourists that come and go and don't say anything when things go wrong. GUESS WHAT? I'm not a tourist and I'll let everyone know what happen. I'll NEVER spend another dollar in your so-so restaurant.
YOU CAN GET BETTER FOOD AT BURGER KING THAN THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
GO TO ANYWHERE OTHER THAN HERE!
