While in town for a volleyball tournament, I tried Oak Level Cafe and was immediately impressed by the warm, down-home southern cooking and friendly service. I went with the red hot and cheese biscuit, which brought back memories of my Friday morning breakfasts there during middle and high school-it's hands down the best biscuit I've ever had. The atmosphere is welcoming and family-friendly, the food is consistently delicious, and although they only accept cash, I'm already looking forward to coming back next time I'm nearby.

I visited a fantastic restaurant during a volleyball tournament, and the southern cooking truly took me back to my childhood. The friendly atmosphere and delicious food, especially the red hot and cheese biscuit, made it a memorable experience, and I can't wait to return.
