The fried shrimp and crab cakes at Martelle's are exceptional, accompanied by delicious coleslaw and hush puppies that elevate the meal. I had some delicious fried shrimp and crab cake at Martelle's. The coleslaw and hush puppies were tasty too. I always make sure to grab a sweet tea from there at least once a week. The prices match the quality of the food, and the friendly service adds to the charm of this down-home spot in rural, down-east NC.
