Spent a week in Hilton Head. On our way back home we discovered this hidden gem!!!! Best meal I had on the whole trip!!! Cheapest too!!!! Cannot stress enough how great the STAFF and FOOD were!!!! Keep up the great work y'all!!!!

I been going to Speedy Chef all my life.
We would go sometimes after church and the Flounder and Hamburger Steak was $2.15 a plate for the Sunday special. By far the best place in Mt Airy hands down.
What can I say about James and Mike! You leave with a smile on your face everytime and warmth in your heart. The dedication over the years to give the folks in town good food. They try to acknowledge every customer that walks up to order and if not too busy will make an effort to speak to you when you leave!!!

Went there for the first time yesterday, food was really good, large portions and the owner was picking up and straightening tables. Was really nice to go to a spotless restaurant that really appreciates the business. We will go again for sure.

Food is always fresh no matter what you order. The staff is so nice. Have ate there for many many years & have always loved it.

Great food and large menu. Beat seafood in town. Great Hot Dogs and sandwiches. Hot Fudge cake is delicious!
