My family ordered from here in 2022 and was pleased with the quality and quantity.
Feb. 3rd 2023 we ordered again and they have gone down hill Big time. The 2 $8.00 Cheese Steak Subs we ordered were very tiny (about 50%) the size they were in 2022.
The sub bun was an oversized hotdog bun and hardly any cheese steak inside.
The $3.75 cheese fries were soggy and gross.
The service at pick up was horrible, I stood there in front of the cash register to pick up my order for 5 minutes while employees were checking the cooler etc. behind the counter. I had to speak out loud before they took my name and my order was sitting on a rack right there the whole time.
If you want good food and service I highly recommend you dine in or out else where.

Always a go to place since it opened. Have never been disappointed with the food, just sometimes the wait. We go more often in the off season....

Lived at Holden Beach about a year, and the food I order is always very good. Today, I ordered my first Chicken Salad Plate, and I was totally pleased. The two scoops of all white meat chicken salad was on a bed of lettuce, and the plate included several slices of tomatoes, assorted cantaloupe, and watermelon pieces. I highly recommend a refreshing meal.

Our family of 4 ate here! I highly recommend Surfers Cafe!! We were craving hamburgers! Their hamburgers were “Awesome!” Will definitely go back! Staff was very friendly and courteous! Our waitress checked back with us to make sure everything was OK! The food was excellent! We made our hamburgers a combo! Prices are great too, don’t pass this Cafe up!

Menu said 850 for shrimp plate and was charged 13. I ended up throwing it away it was cold after waiting 35 min its to get it after already a 5 min drive and 15 mins they told me it would be the fish was burnt the hushpuppys looked like they were cooked in burnt motor oil and the fish sandwitch was on a hotdog bun. 6 bucks for it the shrimp wryer swimming in grease like at least a cup of grease in the plate. I am highly dissapointed 50 bucks to get a fish late and it was so bad I had to toss it i complained to the cashier and was told that was my problem not hers and did not even ask to have it remade I should get a full refund and her job is to have it right. And she did not even ask the cook to fix it
