Restaurant Description

The Red Barn Restaurant is 52 seats (16 more on the screened patio!) each with a magnificent view through 45 feet of panoramic windows where the locals watch the seasons change over the Cape Breton Highlands. Serving up unpretentious home-cooking with just the right amount of sass from our friendly servers, we are fully licensed, featuring Nova Scotia wines, & your favorite cocktails. A fairly sizable menu includes an all day breakfast, lunches & dinners, with standard fare, including lots of seafood & a few surprises. And you can finish your meal (or make it your whole focus!) with dessert, espresso, cappuccino or a latte. WiFi connected. 11 am to 7 pm daily.

I thoroughly enjoyed the house-made beans sweetened with molasses that accompanied my fish cakes. The turkey sandwich and poutine my wife and I ordered were generously portioned and delicious, making for a delightful dining experience at this quaint eatery.
