On our way home from Halifax we decided to order take out from Joe Chows in New Glasgow but they were closed so we ordered from Lin's. Rice was disgusting( dark brown and wet) and the batter on the Chicken was much too thick. The food wasn't as good as Joe Chows but it cost more.
On the plus side they didn't ask for a tip like they do at Joe Chows which is always a bit irritating as I tip for good food and service and being take out one doesn't yet know.

Great food. But the SLOWEST COOKS in Canada. Wow.

We ordered our food 90 minutes in advance. Then had to wait another 20 minutes once we arrived. That was ridiculous!

I looked in back and the cooks were meandering along. Slowest cooks I've ever seen in a kitchen. Hire more efficient cooks!
