I recently dined at both Chinese restaurants in Sydney River, now owned by Filipino families, offering a unique blend of Filipino and Chinese cuisine. The crispy fried pork hock I ordered was truly remarkable, a generous portion perfect for sharing. However, the garlic spareribs in my combo dish were served cold and turned out to be the wrong type of spareribs, reminiscent of those typically found in dim sum dishes.
