Viand has been a favorite of mine since the late '80s, offering consistently fresh and delicious food in a lively, welcoming atmosphere. The staff is always friendly and efficient, making every visit enjoyable, and their pancakes are absolutely outstanding. Although it's cash only, the excellent service and tasty menu make it well worth it, especially when looking for a cozy, classic NYC dining experience near Central Park.

Viand Cafe has been a reliable go-to for me since the late 80's, consistently serving up fresh and delicious food with a bustling yet enjoyable atmosphere. The staff always goes above and beyond to ensure a great dining experience, even when I was short on cash, they were incredibly kind and accommodating. It's a true NYC classic with excellent food and a prime Midtown location that never disappoints.
