Third time dining at Cafe Napoli and have to say, from beginning to end, it is the best food ever introduced to the taste buds. When in Little Italy, NYC, don't settle for anything less.

Stopped in for an early lunch after shopping all morning in Chinatown. We loved that we were greeted on the street and seated right away. Our every need was met by the very sweet waiter. Food was amazing and the cannoli I had was the BEST as were the chocolate covered strawberries. A delightful meal with all the charm of Little Italy thrown in. Loved it!

Restaurant staff members call out to passers by when seating becomes available. We heard a guy call out "table for 6 is open in downstairs party room". Our group decided to go in after a price was quoted for a specific meal.

We entered the restaurant and were seated a cramped corner on the street level. When the tables around us were filled we were basically trapped. In order for us to get up and go to the bathroom, the diners at the next two tables had to leave their table to open a walk-way for us.

The waiter took our order. After twenty minutes and an inquiry, we receive our drinks. There was no ice and they were room temperature at best. From the time we entered the restaurant and our food was served we waited a total of 50 minutes. We asked several times about our order. Each time we were told it will be right out.

We told them we were dissatisfied with their service and the wait time and attempted to leave before our orders arrived, but were told we would have to pay $5.00 for the small basket of "FREE" bread we had eaten.

We were billed higher than the price quoted. The price was not lowered when brought to managements attention. They got their tip though. It was added to the bill automatically.

I would like to say that this was the BEST place i'd ever eatten. We had the fried calamari and they were the the freshest and most plump I've ever had.
For dinner I had the chicken sorrento and linguini with clam sauce and again the BEST.
So my compliments to the chef and whole staff
THANK YOU
Bryan

My husband and I stopped in for lunch. Extensive menu, hugh portions just like Grandma's. The service was great, fast and pleasant. The food was piping hot. Delicious!!! The desserts were to die for, save room!!
