consistently great food
french basics at their best
chestnut soup with figs,fresh brains(french specialty)
outstanding with capers and brown butter
potatoes au grating with perfect bright green string beans
the tarte tatin for dessert is as good as it gets
as good as it would be in a bistro in Paris
the owner/manager Malva is a gem too
lastly,it is not expensive and the wine is cold and dry
as you can tell it is one of my first choices in Ny
and as a matter i have reservations for tomorrow
have a good time
