Sometimes you just need to switch it up from Chinese food, and grabbing a slice of pizza right across from West 57 by Hilton on 57th Street hits the spot. The cozy, bustling joint serves up a 13-inch Old School round pie with fresh toppings like sausage and roasted peppers, all cooked to perfection in a blazing hot oven with a crisp, thin crust and flavorful sauce that keeps me coming back every time I'm in the city. Service is quick and friendly, the ambiance is lively if a bit noisy, and the prices are surprisingly reasonable for the quality and portion size-they really know how to make a pizza that sticks with you well beyond your last bite.
