Top Reviews of Bistro Citron

My dinner experience in a nutshell last night at Bistro Citron: Started out with a dirty water glass, which the waiter acknowledged as "gross" because the grime was actually 3-Dimensional. After getting a nice clean water glass, received a dirty wine glass, to which the waiter said I was "having bad luck". I asked him what was in the spring risotto, which was on the daily specials list. Ahem: "I'm not sure what's in the risotto today, I'll have to go see what the MANUFACTURER has sent us". So, their food comes in little packages and they just add water and heat it up.

My husband order steak frittes medium rare, I ordered the steak au poivre vert medium rare. Both came out well done. Sent back, returned medium well. Didn't bother to send back again. My steak came with potato gratin, which was formed in such a suspicious cube I do not believe it could have possibly have been homemade - it probably came from the same place that "manufacturers" the risotto. Oh, and it was burnt.

Bon Appetite!
