This cozy, family-run El Salvadoran restaurant near the 191 train in Washington Heights offers delicious pupusas, tamales, and combo plates at very affordable prices. The authentic flavors, like the perfectly seasoned steak and the unique horchata de morro, made my first experience with Salvadoran cuisine unforgettable. With friendly service and a relaxed atmosphere, it's a fantastic spot to enjoy fresh, homemade meals that keep me coming back for more.
