I went to Cooper's for lunch with a friend on a Friday afternoon, and it was pretty empty. We ordered lunch and a drink, and the server was attentive and kind. I got the grilled cheese and smoked tomato soup, and it started getting busier during our meal. The happy hour from 12-7 during the week is a great deal, with good lighting that's easy on the eyes. The espresso martinis were tasty, leaning more towards the chocolate side. The bartender was cool and the overall vibe was chill.
