The food here hits the comfort food craving perfectly, especially when dealing with stressful days at Sloan Kettering, with dishes like the traditional Cuban sandwich and oxtail stew reminding me of home-cooked meals. The staff is always friendly and efficient, and while prices can be a bit steep, the fresh, flavorful food and great green sauce keep me coming back time and again.

The food at Sophie's Cuban Cuisine was exactly what I needed while at Sloan Kettering with a family member. The Cuban sandwich and empanadas were so good, I couldn't resist saving some for later - but my picky eater 9 year old ended up devouring it! I'll definitely be visiting Sophie's again and again, making it a must-stop spot whenever I'm in town.
