I've tried bagels all over the place, and the ones on the west coast definitely hold up well, though I still have a soft spot for the east coast varieties. Whenever I'm in the mood for a tasty bagel, I swing by Highwire Coffee on San Pablo for a fix. The texture is a bit different from what I'm used to, but the flavors are on point, especially when paired with a nice cup of tea. If you're ever hosting a breakfast gathering, these bagels could be a hit - I've got my eye on trying out a bulk order for the next event.
