Shellie unless you were right there with Jennie when she left you really can't say it isn't true. Just because there is a sign on the door doesn't mean that an employee won't do it when she isn't there! Why do you suppose she put a sign there in the first place? I am guessing it is because they were smoking in there. Chances are that they will still do it if she isn't there. Cause how would she know unless someone said something. Guess that someone would be Jennie. And from what I read it sounded like she saw the dog in the kitchen with her own eyes as she was leaving! That would be a fact. Jennie didn't say it was Karen's dog. She said "there was a dog.....". Reviews are the reviewers opinion. They are the ones qualified to give it not you! Only gave it one star since I was checking the reviews to see if I wanted to eat there or not. Just couldn't resist responding!!!

In response to Jenny's reveiew on 15 November, 2010. What do you expect, dude, when ordering take-out on breakfast? Of course it's not going to hot when you take it from the building. Even eating in the food gets colder after a time. It you don't lkie the amount you get, for the money, than be more patient and eat in. Or, better yet, go through McDonald's drive thru and see if their food is better for the price.

In response to Sierra on 11/04/2009. The spelling of the word you use to describe Karen's Biscuits and gravy is: 'Their,' not 'There.' This is the spelling for location, or position. Please don't show your illiteracy in a public forum.

Had breakfast cooks did a wonderful job. Large portions, I could tell the cooks were making sure they did a good job. They didn't just rush my food out. Cooked to order very tasty

I frequent this cafe often and think that some statements need correction. The employees are not allowed to smoke anywhere in the building the sign on the store room states if u are smoking in here you best be on fire.Miss Karen does own a dog but the dog is NEVER EVER in the cafe. some people should check their facts before writing reviews that simply are not true, and by the way the food is great

NEVER, NEVER order take-out breakfast from this place! You get 1/3 the portion for the same price. It was also cold 10 minutes after calling in the order. I most definitely won't step foot back into that cafe.

Food was ok but i made the mistake of going out the back door and there was a dog in the kitchen and the employees were smoking in the food storage room.

Once you eat Karen's Crummy Chicken that is all you will be able to think about. Absolutely delicious!!!
