Decent food with good prices, however this restaurant has many problems.
First of all, there is no seating in the restaurant. There are a couple of benches outside, but you can't use those when it's freezing in Ohio.
Second, the wait times are HORRIBLE. Even when I'm the only person in the drive-through, it takes 15-20 minutes for me to receive my food. When there's other cars in line, it takes closer to 30-40 minutes! I probably wasted half a gallon of gas sitting in the drive-through! This is a carry-out only fast food restaurant! Why does it take so long?
You'd think that they'd deliver through Uber-Eats or Doordash, since they're Carry-Out-Only, but this place doesn't offer delivery.
They serve so many things. Pizzas, sandwiches, hot dogs, hamburgers, chicken tenders, ice cream, milkshakes, ect. Don't get me wrong, their food is great for the price, but maybe if there weren't so many menu items, the wait wouldn't be as long. You don't see Dairy Queen serving pizza.
Third, it isn't the nicest place to be at. Their drive-through menu has been covered in dirt for weeks! I assumed it was from a storm or something, but I came back a few weeks later, and it's still there! You can hardly read the menu! How hard would it be to clean that?
I know I've been awfully critical, but DJs has amazing staff and great prices. I think this place would be amazing if it were an ice cream shop instead of a fast food restaurant, or even a great sit-down-and-wait restaurant, but the way they operate as a fast food restaurant is horrible. Especially when Huber has so many other fast food places and at those you don't have to wait 30 minutes.
