Love the daily soup specials at Alley's! The slightly spicy Tortilla Soup is a favorite. The newest menu has many new dishes that I can't wait to try out! I'm thrilled to see the changes that the new owner has made to the restaurant.

I am very impressed with the new menu at Alley's Grill, the current owner has taken the restaurant to a new level. The sandwiches are huge and provide enough for two meals. The owner/chef is trying out new dishes, and giving customers a taste out of the ordinary.I appreciate having a great restaurant like this in our area.

I have frequented Alley's Grille in Middlefield, Ohio over the past 10 years. Food was excellent. Recently (within the past 3 months) the restaurant was sold. First I noticed the daily lunch specials all went up $1.00 from $8.99 & $9.99 to $9.99 & $10.99. The taste and quality of the food is lacking under new ownership. My review on the two meals I have had are as follows:
1. Loaded Chili over Angel Hair with fried Jalapeno rings, onions and crisp tortilla strips. The chili was weak, watered down, greasy, bland with very little meat which was bland. The best part was the Jalapeno rings. I ate them, the few strips that were on the meal and some beans I picked out along with a little of the angel hair (which was okay) and threw the rest away.
2. Portobello mushroom stuffed with spinach, roasted red peppers, onions and feta in a balsamic glaze served with a house salad ($10.99). The mushroom was small, had some spinach and red peppers and cooked red onions with about 5 small curd sprinkles of feta. The balsamic glaze was watered down and the overall taste was bland and the mushroom was rubbery. There was so little to eat the price was out of line. I will NOT eat at this establishment again.
