Last evening, my wife suggested lunch at Blueberry in Bellbrook, but the long wait and noisy atmosphere led us to drive to Waynesville instead, where we enjoyed a warm welcome and charming Colonial Williamsburg-style dining at the Hammel House. Although some dishes were oversalted, the excellent service, inviting ambience, and fond memories of this historic B&B make us eager to return and see how the new ownership continues to evolve this beloved spot.

My dear wife suggested a lunch outing, and I hesitated at the thought of the usual crowded spots. However, we ended up at a charming property in Waynesville with a long porch that exuded a welcoming vibe - Hammel House. The service was impeccable, although the food was a bit oversalted for our liking. Overall, a pleasant experience at Hammel House, perfect for a relaxing meal in a cozy atmosphere.
