While in the Metro Toledo area I had occasion to have dinner with my brother at Te'kela Mexican Cocina y Cantina in nearby Perrysburg. Nice ambiance and great food.I found them in a google search; read the reviews and called and made reservations because our party was for six.
The food was excellent. The chicken fajitas were tasty and the chicken was really tender; the rice and beans were very good. A really enjoyable meal. However, what made the meal even better was their excellent home made salsas. The mild was good but the hot was the best I've had at a restaurant; I mixed the two and moderated the hot affect. Made my dinner even better!
The great food was accentuated by the excellent service. Our waitress delivered the chips and salsa promptly and I when I asked her if there was a hotter salsa, she smiled and said yes there was. The wait for the drinks and food were negligible and she set our replacement drinks without being asked and without my noticing. I asked about dessert and she happily recommended the Dessert Nachos. A great end to a great meal!

Worst experience ever!
1.Had reservations for 9, and they said no reservations had been made!
3. Had our table on top of another large group so close that the other group kept hitting our chairs and invading our space!
3. Asked for nachos with no cheese or meat, but to substitute the meat & cheese with rice. Received a side order of rice, beans, and just chips with beans! Had to request lettuce? What the heck! Never had this problem ANYWHERE ELSE!
4. Husband ordered Pablono peppers, enchilada, and taco. His peppers "might" have had a teaspoon of cheese, and he always gets these at other restaurants with no problem, usually loaded with cheese! His enchilada was tasteless, of which the server handed him the enchilada plate from across the table saying be careful it may be a bit hot. Well it was more than a bit hot! Burned my husbands hand and he had to drop the plate!
Needless to say, we will NEVER go back to that place!
