Pizza was ok at best. Burnt crust, sausage not good. Sauce didn't have a flavor at all. For a store that just opened they really are going to have to try harder. I did like the pizza box however...

They opened about 4 weeks ago, located in Harrison, Ohio, on Harrison Avenue near the Kroger complex.
Went for first time this evening. II grew up in the NYC metro area, and am very picky about pizza. In my experiences all across this great country, good NYC style pizza is almost impossible to find west of Philadelphia, PA.
I am very happy to report that Ecco Pizza in Harrison, Ohio, gets it right! Hats off to the owners and staff at Ecco. Excellent tasting, very authentic NYC style pizza. Highly recommended. I'll definitely be back.
P.S. : I also tried the meatballs, which are made in-house. Excellent! I see a Meatball Parmesan sub in my near future.
P.S.S. : They also have Italian sausage. I didn't ask about these, nor did I sample them, but definitely will on a subsequent visit. In my experience, what I said about finding good pizza also holds true for finding good Italian sausage. I will hold out hope.
Thanks again to Pat, a Brookly Prep grad from NY and to all the rest of his staff.
Thoroughly enjoyed the service and food.
