We moved from Mobile, Al. To Sallisaw, Ok. and were looking for a small Family style restaurant and we found the Blue Ribbon and loved it. Food is delicious any time of day.

Food was great, but the service and the locals there were god awful. A group of 8 of us passing through on a trip decided to stop here for breakfast. They ran out of a lot of things before we sat down, and it took 2 hours to get our food. The locals complained that we rushed the kitchen to have our food out first...all we did was sit down and order and kept to ourselves, and barely asked for anything! The waitress bad-mouthed us and the locals kept pointing and being extremely rude and calling us terrible names, like we were unwelcome. One person in our group got up to use the restroom, and the owner came over and accused him of leaving without paying and that we would have to pay for it, when he was just gone for a minute! The lights went out where we were sitting all if a sudden, and the damn waitress told the owner we were playing with it. We are all in our late 20s early 30s...we are not children. Seriously?? If you're an outsider looking to be welcomed in a small town diner, do not go here. The waitress huffed and puffed when I asked for a drink refill after waiting for an hour. So sorry that we added to your cash register and came in to eat just like everybody else. This is by far the worst treatment I've ever had at any restaurant in all my years.
