Having recently moved to the area, we wanted to try lots of new places. We'd read favorable reviews for this café and decided to try it. First, if you like ambiance or décor, don't go; this place has neither. The furniture is a hodgepodge of folding tables and stackable chairs. The floor is painted concrete that hasn't been repainted in at least 10 years. The server, a pleasant young woman, did just the minimum.
My wife and I both ordered pastrami and fries. The pastrami was flavorful, albeit pretty fatty. The fries ............... oh, my goodness, the fries were awful. They had enough grease that I could have lubed my truck and had plenty to spare.
For a place with no ambiance, middling service and only mediocre food, the price was too high, too.
This is now on our "do not go to" list.
