We dined... or should I say , we tried to dine at this establishment today 04/27/21... We arrived at 6:05p.m. , not exactly the rush hour for dining. When we arrived the establishment was only occupied by two other fellow diners, of which they had already placed their orders and were seated at a table. My wife and I proceeded to place our order, after another thirty five minutes, the first couple's dinner arrived. After another twenty minutes we were greeted with our dinner order... surprise... the waiter enlightened me that they were out of ribs (note this is nearly an hour after the order was placed with only two patrons ahead of us.... now to add insult to injury, the order was still incomplete... I informed the waiter that we were also missing the strawberry cobbler ordered.... off the waiter goes not to return for another ten minutes to deliver an order to another set of patrons... yet again their order was not complete as ordered... but to add more to the flavor of the experience, after our dinner was delivered to the table with no utensils, i informed the staff of the lack of fine plastic-ware only to await another ten minutes for the staff to partially refill the service container with only a dozen plastic forks..... Again, we informed the staff that they still have not brought our desserts.... fifteen minutes later, we see the waitress addressing the issue and using "tongs", she tried to fill a plastic bowl with a strawberry cobbler. Watching this ordeal, we were about to announce the issue and instruct the waitress to use a spoon implement... but my wife informed me to wait... wait and another ten minutes after the tongified cobbler has been waiting on the service line for delivery, we ultimately surrendered that this was never to happen. We finally surrendered and admitted defeat, we left with a very deficit of not only ordering meals that were not delivered but compensated that the level of incompetence was nearly worth the cost of entry just to have a baseline for all other establishments to live down to. The establishment had about twenty other dining patrons that we only wish we warned before we exited the restaurant.....

Stopped by Blake's Barbecue for lunch......I started with the Banana Pudding......IT IS DELICIOUS! SO FAR EVERYTIME I GO THERE I HAVE TO GET SOME BANANA PUDDING! I ENJOY THE FOOD AND THE PEOPLE AT BLAKE'S BARBECUE!

AND I WILL CONTINUE WITH THE BANANA PUDDING......UNTIL ALL OF THE MONKEES HAVE TAKEN AWAY ALL THE BANANAS.......

MY HUSBAND AND I REALLY ENJOY THE FOOD AT BLAKE'S BARBECUE! YOU SHOULD CALL AND SEE WHAT THE "SPECIAL OF THE DAY" IS......WE PICK IT UP ON THE WAY HOME WHEN WE CAN.....
