Went for lunch. Ordered off the Hibachi Lunch menu, at the Hibachi tables. Lunch prices on the menu were $18 for two item. $12 for single item. And we pointed on the menu what we wanted. We were charged $30 for the two item and $24 for a single item. Talked to the waiter, he said he'd have to get the manager. Manager shows up and tells us that we were charged the dinner prices because they don't do Lunch Hibachi. But yet, it was on the menu for lunch hibachi, Mon - Fri 11:00 AM thru 2:30 PM. We told the manager this and she still argued that they don't do lunch hibachi, only dinner. Asked her why our waiter didn't tell us this, when we pointed out what we wanted on the menu. Her excuse was that he was new. Which I know to be incorrect. We used to go to this Hibachi all the time, and new waiting staff always had a more experienced member with them. But, the manager still argued that they do not do lunch hibachi and what do I expect her to do about it?
What she should have done was to honor the prices that are on the menu. I even told her that the lunch prices were not marked off or changed. Then she tells me that the hibachi lunch is for the front, where the kitchen cooks the food. That is not hibachi.
Not going to this location again.
And to add. The food was kind of bland. Teriyaki sauce was good, but food itself was bland. Steak and chicken were not seasoned. Just cooked and then teriyaki sauce poured on it. Fried rice was somewhat bland, and I usually like fried rice.
The lady who "claimed" to be the manager was the same one to seat us and was very rude when trying to discuss what we were charged versus what we ordered.

I like the steak and shrimp, tempura, and ramen being made there. They make the ramen noodles. I'm craving Sukiyaki next time as my mother is not able to make it anymore. This place is 2nd only to Mom's cooking. Her family has had restaurants in Tokyo and Fussa Shi, Tokyo.
