Coming from California with a serious Mexican food snobbery, I can say the enchiladas here blew me away, and my friend's tacos and burrito held their own like champs. The menudo is a hearty breakfast of champions, served fresh and generous enough to fuel you through the coldest mornings, plus their Spanish omelette and tamale platter bring some serious comfort food vibes. Sure, the staff keeps it low-key and the Diet Dr Pepper fizz was a bit off, but when the food hits this good-especially those beef tacos and giant quesadillas-I'm all in, week after week.
