DO NOT BUY FROM THIS BAKERY. I have been to this bakery before and stopped in to buy a few items before going to visit and bring some baked goods ($32 worth). It wasn't until I cut in the apple pie and was servicing and my company was eating it that I noticed under the crust across the top a large black MOLD and beside it BLUE MOLD. Very visible. Yes MOLD. I stopped everyone from eating totally embarrassed. I took pictures left a voice mail and spoke to the person in charge at the bakery next day. I was reassured that the pie was baked the same day and was fine despite the pictures I showed her and the receipt and date on the pie box and was offered another pie. NO THANKS. This pie was dated July 8 and I bought it July 4 so they obviously just relabelled it and putt it back on the shelf. No offer of refund which I asked for but another chance to eat a moldy pie. YUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been in the shop weekly since I found it. The baking has always been great and the cinnamon buns just like my Grandmother used to make, I highly recommend them. Their banana bread also deserves mention. I look forward to trying all the desserts in the near future. But beware, they are addictive but so delicious! Gord

Today I went to the bun shoppe bakery at 10 king George road and i was looking at some cookies and the person who worked there, she was behind me and looked at me like i was gross and said "excuse me" also she put her hand in the air like she didn't want to touch me in an impolite way. That really bothered me and it wasn't the first time she has done this to me. I am a costumer, she shouldn't be rude to me like that. I am very unhappy in the way she had done that to me and i think she needs to change her attitude towards costumers or stay in the back. I am just saying if you don't change your attitude you will probably lose costumers.

Bought some banana bread the other day...it was wonderful...My 90 year old Aunt said it was the best she has ever had.

Excellent service, polite staff. Bread is always fresh, their raisin bread is the best. Their chillie sauce is my favourite reminds me of my grandmas.

Was very hot in the Bun Shoppe today.I bought 3 custard squares and they were all rotten from the heat.My elderly Mom tried one and it tasted sour.They looked terrible.
