Sitting on the patio with a view of the Welland Canal, I was captivated by the warm, friendly atmosphere and attentive service that made everyone feel like family, while the diverse menu impressed with flavorful dishes accommodating allergies and dietary preferences. The lively monthly events, cozy nautical decor, and expertly prepared meals like the Prosciutto Rollatini and five cheese spinach dip create an inviting experience that draws me back time and again, even after traveling over an hour.

Gave this place a try a couple times and always was disappointed. Very poor service and the food is tasteless.

Canal Side is one of favourite hang outs, been many times all seasons. We have never had a disappointing time or meal. Greg and his staff are wonderful friendly people.Great food, wonderful staff, a nice place to hang out anytime by the canal. Two thumbs up!!

Terrible service. You don't mind slow, but so rude. She acted as though it was painful. There was also a child helping out and a poorly groomed man That they said was a volunteer. Never again. Also, the lobster roll Smelled and tasted like cat food. Avoid.
