During my visit to the Goderich Harbour Restaurant, I was impressed by the fresh and delicious fish and chips, friendly staff, accommodating service, reasonable prices, and picturesque harbor view, making it a great spot for a satisfying meal with a cozy atmosphere.

What a Great Place near the Harbor,with excellent fish and chips.People are wonderful here caring about each person,s order.It,s a quiet place and yet at times very busy,but they always listen in this fast paced society.No one is perfect of course,but what an amazing place to enjoy fish and chips and just relax and get a great meal with the scenery provided by the harbor and ships.Every time i,m enjoying fish and chips even after 20 plus years and enjoy the drive to see the harbor and the people that work here.Today was my best day here at Old saltie why was that I was feeling down after losing something precious to me and without saying a word these people knew it and put an extra smile on their face for me after noticing this and treated me with just a touch of human kindness so in return I thanked these two wonderful people that work here and left a Ten dollar tip.When you need a friend and no one is by you. Or even if the day is beautiful Why not just over look the harbor while you enjoy fish and chips and take a break and rest some and leave some of it behind you.I did and i,m so grateful that I did just that.Have a great day and enjoy the Fish and chips awesome people and place to go.

Brought my girlfriend with me to this place. My ex-wife refused to come here because she hated fish and chips. Luckily, my girlfriend loves fish and chips.. By the way, this place is fantastic!!!

My wife and I came here. We really enjoyed our meal. We both had the haddock and fries. Cooked to perfection!!

Came in for dinner with my girls. We all had the fish and chips. The meal was great! We will be back.

Good food, terrible service. For that reason we will never eat there again, if you go be prepared to bring your own utensils or else be rudely spoken too for asking for utensils. And don't forget to wash and return the dollar store forks they give you, because you will get that rude speech.

Used to have a good reputation. In July 2022,price went up 30% WTF. Smallest portion of fries anywhere.( I counted 19 in my order) Packets of tartar sauce and ketchup cost extra. Use a credit card and they charge you extra. They give you a hard time if you ask for a fork. It's become a trap for unsuspecting tourists. Too bad the owner got so greedy

Love love love their fish & chips. If you don't like eating barbaric style bring fork and knife! Fish will fall apart In your hands though. Cooked to perfection.

Went last night ordered at 6:20 climbed back in my car with my fish and chips at 7:30. The girl who took my order said it would be 25 min to 1/2 hour. When I talked politely to the guy who runs the place his very snarky answere was "well I'll just run into the kitchen and tell them Randy wants his order" He then went on to explain his staff was all new, the same excuse they gave out last time I was there. The food was very good but not worth the hour and 10 minute wait. The owner should be retrained in customer service.

Very bad business will never ever go back .they have kids working there coming on to ever girl that gose there .fish came in a bag with no fork to eat with .asked for fish and chips and only got one fish that look like sh-t .never again

We really like their fish and chips. We always get their special , which is haddock with chips. Wrapped in paper the way it used to be. Usually there once a week.
