Downie Street Bakehouse offers beautifully crafted loaves with exceptional flavor and perfect texture. It is an awesome bakery that is well worth a visit if you're in the vicinity of Stratford. The quality of their bread is truly unmatched.

Great quality artisanal bread. Bread of this quality is very difficult to find. Best we've tried outside of Europe.

Excellent care to be covid safe. Fabulous bread. Sourdough bread nice & crusty that becomes softer in plastic overnight if desired. Friendly owner & staff.

The owner is a very malicious man, cutthroat and mean. Also clams his products are safe but people that have worked for him express differently. No to mention the people that have broken a tooth off small rocks in the bread.
