Today was our first and sadly our last visit to this establishment We were travelling through this area and really wanted to support some of the local businesses The man at the counter was extremely unpleasant with not even as much as a hello After reading some prior reviews it looks like we won’t be the only ones not returning. If you are the man at the counter reading this review we hope you change your disposition going forward and at the very minimum greet your customers. Good news travels fast but bad news travels even faster. All the best

The old lady running the place is rude beyond words. Doesn't matter if it really was the best pork in town, I wouldn't trust product served by such a rude and nasty individual. Be better!

What a rude and nasty woman running the counter!
I won't be back. Which is a shame since I come by here often. Sorry, but there is better product in nearby St. Jacob's, and your poor attitude makes it worth the extra trip.

The lady running the place has a real attitude problem. First time I went in nobody was running the till. I called out "hello" wondering if anyone was here. She came out in a rage, and I explained I just wanted to see if anyone was here since the till was unstaffed. She rudely replied "what's your problem, someone has to do real work here". I dismissed it as a bad day and let it slide. Second time I came in I asked about some pepperoni sticks and she rudely yelled "can't you read the signs". Sigh.
The pepperoni sticks were actually really good, so it deserves a point for that. But I certainly won't be back. I'd rather shop somewhere that appreciates the business.

We visited the pork shop on the 10nth October, we had planned to buy some pork to put in our freezer.
The assistant was quite rude and Custer service’s left a lot to be desired.
I asked if she had some Melton mowbrey pork pies which was advertised on their website, he answer was
We have not had them for years !!!!! I said I had seen them on her website, her only explanation was well we can’t take it off the web .
We had planned to buy lots of pork for our freezer,but after the way she spoke to us we decided to take our
Custom elsewhere.
She was not helpful in the least.
Shame as in this day when a small business is struggling she could have been more helpful.
