Polish Bistro from Thunder Bay, Ontario specializes in serving Polish ethnic food that we offer in a form of "home cooked meals". We offer number of Polish dishes that have in the past been some of the most delicious plates on tables of countless of Polish families for years. We have decided to offer them here in Thunder Bay, where traditions of Polish cuisine are deeply rooted in the fabric of our community. Some of our bestsellers are: Lunch Platter which is a cross section of the most renowned Polish foods like: cabbage rolls, pierogies, meat balls, crepes stuffed with mushrooms and cheese, Polish sausages served with stewed onions and bun. In a short time we have brought to our local international cuisine in Thunder Bay probably the best borsch that brings to us more and more customers. Our dinner specialties are: Pork chops, beef rolls, chicken breast wrapped in bacon with these meals rice or mushed potatoes provided as options. At Polish Bistro we serve different soup every day.

Polish Bistro has been established on October 2nd 2013. We are located at 71 S. Algoma St. in Thunder Bay just across from Maltese - one of a local grocery stores in Thunder Bay.
Our specialty is Polish ethic foods that are served with free soup with every meals we offer.

While my daughter was in hospital at St Joes for many months I made it a habit to walk down to Polish Bistro weekly (at least) to enjoy a bowl of the best borscht I have ever had! Also tried many more dishes on the menu with other family members who visited, there was not a one I would not have again. Homemade, good food, served in a pleasant atmosphere by charming host and the prices are more than reasonable. Would highly recommend as a go to when in Thunder Bay!
