The premade sandwiches at the Chevron gas station in Lemon Grove are the best around, especially the big Texas ham and cheese. I also discovered a delicious egg salad sandwich at Brown Bag, which I found at some of the to-go stores on the CSULB campus and even at a liquor store in Santa Monica.

After a long day traveling back home, I made a pit stop at the Chevron Gas Station in Dunnigan, CA, off of I-5. Since I had another hour and a half of driving before arriving home, I looked for something to eat. That is when I spotted the Brown Bag sandwiches. I chose the Turkey Breast & Jack Cheese with Southwest Mayo sandwich. Wow! What a great sandwich!!!! Lots of deli sliced turkey, with a large slice of lettuce and two pieces of fresh, incredible multigrain bread. Seriously, at 470 calories, this sandwich was the best! I look forward to my next trip and plan to stop at this gas station, just to get one of your sandwiches.
