For years we have endured the long lines, errors on phone orders, insufficient food supply (yes, they “run out” of food at lunch time), frustrated/overworked staff, and online order errors and gross misjudgment of timing because the food is so delicious.
Alas, we now give up and will never return. Tonight we placed an online order and the “promised delivery time” was 7:30pm. We arrived at 7:33 and were told it was in process. We inquired again at 7:45 and were offered a free soda. At 8:10, I asked to speak to the manager. Francisco Santos came over shortly thereafter, refusing to apologize or look me in the eye when I explained that we had waited over 40 minutes. I said I could have walked through the line and ordered in store 4 times by then had I known they weren’t actually making our food. I asked for a business card and a corporate contact, and he said he didn’t have either. I asked for a refund in cash as I didn’t trust him to process the card I had used online. Once he handed me my cash, I asked if we were through and if there was anything he’d like to say, and of course, he was still too proud to offer a simple apology for my time and the inconvenience.
Bottom line: diners, if you decide to eat here, do not ever ever place an order online or by phone.
Corporate - this is an absolutely horrible reflection of your brand and I would highly suggest some interventions at this franchise to protect your image and prevent further situations like this.
