The ambience is relaxed and casual with friendly, though sometimes hurried, staff, while the food consistently impresses with dishes like the shepherd's pie, mussels in white wine sauce, and fresh French bread accompanied by superb butter. Although the dessert offerings can be hit or miss and service may occasionally be slow, the warm atmosphere, generous portions, reasonable prices, and attentive service make this French cafí© a reliable choice for lunches and dinners with family or friends.
