Living just down the street makes stopping by this old-fashioned burger stand incredibly convenient, and their patty melts and cheeseburgers never fail to satisfy that classic craving. The thick-cut fried zucchini evokes a nostalgic county fair feeling with every bite, while the generous fries-perfectly sized and freshly made-add tremendous value to the meal. The friendly, fast service and consistently delicious flavors keep me coming back, especially for favorites like the chili cheese fries, pastrami sandwich, and the famously spicy chili verde fries.

There's a cozy burger stand down the street from where I live that serves up delicious old-fashioned style burgers that always hit the spot. The patty melts and cheeseburgers are my go-to choices, and the sides like fries and fried zucchini really elevate the meal. The fried zucchini, in particular, has a thick cut that gives it a nostalgic county fair feel, though occasionally I've noticed a bit of bitterness which may indicate older zucchinis being used.

I have been coming to this place since I was a little kid. A & J's is one of Fullerton's hidden gems. The food is good. The outside of the restaurant looks bad, but the food makes up for. It is one of the best little burger stands in the Orange County Area.
