I discovered an authentic Irish pub in downtown Newport Beach that has everything I love about a great bar experience. The atmosphere is laid-back, the Guinness is perfectly poured by the friendly bartender Jo, and the food, including the Shepherd's pie and fish and chips, is delicious and reasonably priced.

Best real Irish pub in Orange County hands down. Not the prettiest but the people are genuine, the beer is poured correctly, the Guinness is fresh and the drinks are honest. On the weekends, the live music gets your spirit up. Finally, the food is good and plentiful.
