We were warmly received. Got there early. Food was great. Drove 75miles one way to get there. Well worth it. Left a great tip. The waitress made sure we were taken care of but didn't crowd or bother us. We had a great time. Best Hr and a half we have spent at atop flight restaurant in along time. Has to be since the Rhinelander in Portland closed down. We enjoy getting away to our own little hidden spots. Been married almost 40 yrs and we love the art of a great dinner. That includes the time, quality, quantity and service. Well worth the time. You won't be disappointed. You must try the brownie.

We've been coming here over 12 years. Tonight was disappointing. The food was overseasoned. Too many capers and hot spices overwhelmed the seafood. No need.
Not worth the price anymore.
Won't be back.

We have been to The Schooner several times. Unfortunately, the food has gone downhill with each visit. It was our last visit, however, that made it our last. After having experienced the wood fired pizza being unavailable in the past, I actually messaged ahead to ensure availability. The GM messaged "yes ma'am". So we drove 30 minutes only to be told no one made dough that day. I was also told by the acting manager "you should have called instead of messaging - the person (GM) who answers messages isn't even here today, so she has no idea what we have and don't".
I attempted to resolve this privately with the GM the following day, but she just became defensive and refused to resolve THEIR mistake to our satisfaction. As a result, we won't go back, won't take our company, and won't recommend. In the long run, the manager has cost the restaurant far more $ than if she had simply invited us back out for a complimentary pizza, which is all we wanted and wouldn't have cost them much. Plus they probably would have recouped the entire cost or even made $ still because we would have purchased beer or wine with our meal! Just seems like a really poor management decision 🤷 There are plenty of better restaurants on the coast, but our appalling customer service experience was the true final straw - and after looking at reviews, it seems like we are far from the only patrons that feel similar about how they were treated!

First I would like to commend you for what you do for this cause Food Bank.
We were there on Thanksgiving Day ,we were the fourth table to be served. I have to say that the meal was cold, turkey was tough, the cranberry bitter. We have been going to enjoy the meal but were disappointed. Want to say also that as we were leaving the table next to the exit door (main) the food looked like it was very hot. Wish you the best.
