Best food in Rockaway: polite staff, large portions and everything I’ve tried from the menu has been absolutely delicious.
Most of the restaurants in the area involves slow, rude service with mediocre food, so as a local this is my “go to” destination when I don’t want to cook (the food is so good & the staff are so pleasant!)
The lamb jalfrazi is a family favorite! The food is made to order, but if you don’t want to wait you can call to order for pickup.
This place is a “must try” for Rockaway!

Visited twice while in Rockaway. We don’t usually do that but it was so good! I love Indian food but am really picky and it’s hard to find really great Indian food. Well this is it!
We will be going again and again!
