The Blue House Cafe offers a warm, welcoming atmosphere with attentive service and consistently delicious Mediterranean dishes, including fresh dolmades, flavorful gyros, and standout hummus. After enjoying a long bike ride, the generous portions and authentic flavors provided a satisfying and memorable meal, and I look forward to exploring more of their menu in the future.

The homey atmosphere of the cafí© was complemented by wonderful hospitality and delicious food, particularly the soup, which was satisfying after biking 20 miles. I enjoyed a Lamb/Beef Gyro sandwich that was generously portioned and flavorful, and I look forward to exploring more of their menu in the future.

I moved here to Vernonia last year and was amazed to find out that they had a Greek place! The food and staff (customer service) here is top notch! I think it's better than the Mad Greek by far! It's well worth the drive from say Western Washington County to come out here and support these small restaurants, especially during this time of Covid and being open, closed...etc....
After you're done eating (or before) there are also 2nd hand shops and antique stores and parks. Most if not all great for walking!
